The Individual Pro/Am Tournament: (Just play golf and we’ll sort it out)
Our event begins with all golfers participating in a 72 hole Individual Championship that will offer 3 different flights. We will also offer a number of different unique contests and events throughout the week to make the experience more enjoyable. The 4 rounds used for the tournament will be the Wednesday afternoon round, the Thursday morning round, the Friday morning round, and the Saturday morning round.
All Golfers will play each of the 4 courses at Innisbrook for the tournament.
USGA Rules will apply throughout the event. There are no gimmies so play your ball out.
This event will offer 3 flights. Your entry fee is covered in your package. The 3 Flights for this event are as follows:
1) Pro event – This flight is open to club Pro’s at any golf course in the U.S.A. They will compete in a non handicap tournament against each other. The Pro flight will play from the Tips each round.
2) Handicap event – This flight will require all participants to produce a valid handicap card with at least 15 scores from the current season or from the previous 12 months. You cannot play in this flight without your card. We will take your index and assign the number of strokes on each hole of each course being played. This flight will play from the “Green Tees” for the event.
3) Callaway event – This flight is open to anybody. Your score for each round will be determined by the Callaway scoring system. This flight can be played by any level golfer doesn’t have a handicap card or chooses not participate in the Handicap event. This flight will play from the “White” tees for the event.
Once the event officially begins you can’t change flights.
The following extra events will be offered to enhance your “Play Like a Pro” experience:
1) Closest to the Pin each day for all 3 flights. $10 entry fee each day ($40 total)
Each day you will have a shot on each Par 3 hole to get the closest to the pin. The person in each flight who gets overall closest to the pin at the end of the round will win a prize.
2) An 18 hole Par 3 Championship for each flight. A one time $10 entry fee
There are 18 total Par 3 holes in the four rounds you will play in the tournament. We will host a mini Par 3 Championship in each flight. Top 2 in each flight will win prizes.
3) We will be hosting a 4 man Best 2 Balls event each round. A $5 per person entry fee each day ($20).
Each round the foursome you are golfing with can compete in the 4 man Best 2 Balls event each day. Each foursome will take their best two scores in their foursome as their scores. Top 2 foursomes in each flight will win prizes.
4) The Daily Hole in One challenge. $10 entry fee each day ($40 Total)
Each day you will have the opportunity to win a brand new car.
Team Club/ Corporate tournament:
(2 divisions/ 2 Flights)
In addition to playing in the individual event, Groups attending from clubs and/or companies can participate in our team tournament.
1) Club /Corporate Tournament - $150 per team to enter – This event is open to any players from the same club or company. The top 8 scores each day in the individual rounds will count towards your team score. You can enter unlimited golfers from your club/company into the event. There will be club/corporate tournaments in both the Handicap and Callaway divisions and all of your golfers for your team must play in the same flight. Either your club’s Pro must forward a letter on club letterhead verifying that your team is comprised of all members from your club or your Director of Human Resources must forward a letter on company letterhead verifying that your team is comprised of all members your company. There will be no exceptions or additions of golfers that are not members of your home club or company. You may be asked to provide your membership or ID card.
Scoring for the team events will be as follows:
We will take the number of golfers that participate in the team event and starting with the number of golfers the lowest score will earn that amount of points towards your team scoring. The highest score in the team competition will score 1 point for their team. Each day we will add up the total team score and at the end of the four rounds the team with the highest number of points will win the overall team championship. Golfers that are not in your top 8 can still help reduce the number of points other teams get by their placing in the standings.
2 Bonus rounds of golf are included in this package!!!!!!!
Included in your package are two bonus rounds of golf on Thursday and Friday afternoons. On Thursday afternoon everyone will get a bonus round on the Copperhead course. On Friday afternoon everyone will get a bonus round on the Island course.
These two rounds are not part of the tournament. They are there for you and the fellas to kick back and enjoy some male bonding.
Awards
Awards will be given to the winners of each flight and in both the individual and team championships.
Airfare and Transportation to/from Innisbrook
We are willing to book your flights as a complimentary service to you. All you need to do is tell us your day of arrival, departure and airport you want to travel from/to.
Once at the airport in Tampa you can take a Yellow Cab to Innisbrook for about $55-60 each way. You can rent a car if you like but once at Innisbrook you won’t need a car. Innisbrook provides tram service to all Courses, Pools, Gym/Spa and Restaurants.
Your Play like a Pro package includes the Following:
Nightly suite accommodations (based on 2 or 4 Golfers per condo)
(Individuals or 3 people to a condo will cost an additional $60 per person/per room)
6 rounds of golf (2 rounds on both the Copperhead and Island courses)
Free Club storage (Your clubs will be waiting for you each morning)
Free instructional golf clinics and unlimited practice range balls
Transportation throughout the resort via the tram service
Full American Breakfast and Lunch each day (Thurs-Sat)
Saturday’s awards Banquet Luncheon which will be at Packards Steakhouse
Entry fee into the Individual event

Daily Pampering items: (For Example: Complimentary cigar each day and/or

Innisbrook Resort and Country Club is a non-metal spike facility. No personal coolers are allowed on the golf courses and proper golf attire is required on the courses and practice facilities. Innisbrook will provide on course cart service for your enjoyment.
Tuesday (early) Arrival or Saturday night (late) stay:
For those who want to come in on Tuesday or stay until Sunday you can do so at a cost of $269++ per night. That is based on 4 people staying in your condo.
As part of your Play like a Pro package you are invited to join us for a group dinner at Packard’s Steakhouse on Friday night at 8pm to celebrate the ending of a great week of golf and fun.
We will also cap the night off with an evening putting contest where the winner will receive a great prize.

Our Highlands North and Highlands South Courses are not quite as long as Copperhead and the Island but they can be every bit as challenging.
In addition to outstanding golf courses, Innisbrook also offer three award-winning golf shops presenting the finest in merchandise and equipment, and perhaps most important, a professional, service-oriented staff that takes personal delight in exceeding all expectations.
Packard’s Steakhouse
Serving only the finest certified Angus Beef, Packard’s Steakhouse was named after the famed golf course designer, Larry Packard, who designed all of Innisbrook's four championship golf courses, as well as several famous layouts worldwide. Packard's offers sumptuous steak and seafood dinners, and a signature martini list you won't want to miss. Breakfast and lunch are also served at Packard's in a comfortable clubhouse setting.
Bamboo’s
Enjoy casual dining in a colorful setting that offers a terrific variety of salads, sandwiches, fresh seafood and steaks. Located in the Highlands Clubhouse, Bamboo's is the perfect meeting spot after a round of golf or to catch your favorite sporting event on our large screen TV's. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Grill at Loch Ness
Offering something for the entire family, the Grill at Loch Ness combines casual dining in a relaxed atmosphere. Serving the best frozen drinks inspired by the tropics along with quick light fair including fruit salads, chicken sandwiches, monster dogs and hamburgers. Daily drink and food specials are available while you watch your favorite team on our televisions.
Turnberry Pub
Named after our famous sister resort in Scotland, Turnberry Pub is the perfect dining experience for the whole family. Enjoy casual dining inside, or on the Garden Patio overlooking the scenic Island Golf Course. The menu offers a pleasing variety of American cuisine, in a family-friendly setting. Open daily for breakfast and lunch.
